For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God...There's a thought. Not one that would get much traction with people on the street. Most of them "hate" those children of God.
But if we are living as the "real" children of God...I can imagine that creation would indeed wait with eager longing.
If we bring the promise of reconciliation, redemption, transformation, would people line the faithful pathways and eagerly wait for our arrival?
I suppose that is the very definition of hope...
Hope that we, with God's help, can do that.
Hope that creation will be transformed.
(May God see fit to start with our political system...)
